REQUEST & SERVICE TERMS
Service terms.
Clear rules for requesting, approving and paying for Blackline Mobile service.
Effective September 10, 2026
1. Requests are not confirmed appointments
Submitting this website form sends Blackline Mobile a service request. It does not guarantee same-day service, availability, dispatch, a final price, parts availability, repair completion, or an appointment. A request becomes a confirmed appointment only after Blackline Mobile directly confirms the date and time with you.
2. Accurate information and permission
You agree to provide accurate contact, vehicle, condition, access, and service-location information. You must be the vehicle owner or have authority to request and approve work, and you must have permission for Blackline Mobile to enter and work at the service location. Tell us about access limits, parking rules, roadside hazards, pets, fluid restrictions, or other conditions before dispatch.
3. Vehicle lookup
For cars and trucks, you may use plate lookup or enter the vehicle manually. Plate lookup uses the plate and issuing state to return a possible vehicle match. You are responsible for reviewing the displayed plate, year, make, and model and using the change or manual-entry option if the match is incorrect before submitting the request.
Lookup data may be incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. It helps with scheduling and preparation but is not proof of ownership, registration, title, recall status, vehicle history, diagnosis, or exact equipment. If the result is wrong, use manual entry and tell Blackline Mobile before service.
4. Estimates and work authorization
Submitting a request does not authorize repairs. Before automotive repair work begins, Blackline Mobile will provide an estimate or obtain your authorization for the agreed work and price. If inspection or disassembly reveals additional work, complications, parts, or cost, Blackline Mobile will request further approval before performing work beyond the authorized scope. You may decline additional recommendations.
An estimate is based on the information and conditions reasonably available at that time. It may change when the vehicle information was inaccurate, hidden damage or prior repairs are found, parts pricing changes, or a different failure is confirmed—but additional work still requires your approval.
5. Starting prices, travel and deposits
Mobile diagnostic or inspection service starts at $80. Travel starts at $20 and may increase with distance, tolls, location, timing or special access. Weekend appointments are limited and include a $25 surcharge. Repair labor, parts and longer-distance travel are quoted after review. A disclosed deposit may be required for travel, ordered parts or larger jobs.
Unless stated otherwise in writing, a deposit is applied to the authorized job total. Once you approve parts ordering and Blackline Mobile places the order, the parts deposit is committed to that repair and is not refundable if you cancel or decide not to proceed. If a supplier cancels an order or parts must be reordered, the deposit remains credited toward the same approved repair while Blackline Mobile obtains suitable replacement parts.
If Blackline Mobile cannot obtain suitable parts or cannot complete the approved repair, any refundable balance will be returned promptly after the supplier or payment processor returns the related funds to Blackline Mobile. Documented restocking charges, shipping costs or other nonreturnable supplier fees may be deducted from that balance.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows
There is no cancellation fee when you cancel a confirmed appointment at least four hours before its scheduled start. A $25 late-cancellation or no-show fee applies when you cancel less than four hours before start or when the customer, vehicle or required access is unavailable without notice. If Blackline Mobile has already started traveling, the agreed travel charge may also apply. Blackline Mobile may waive a fee for an emergency.
A late-cancellation balance may be added to your next appointment unless waived. It is never charged automatically merely because a card was previously used; you must separately approve the payment through Square or another authorized payment process. If Blackline Mobile cancels, you do not owe a late-cancellation fee, and any refundable amount for unperformed work will be returned.
7. Diagnosis, safety and service conditions
A diagnostic visit evaluates the symptoms and conditions reasonably present during the visit. Intermittent problems, hidden damage, multiple failures, prior modifications or incomplete information can require additional testing or a later visit. A diagnosis is not a promise that no other problem exists.
Do not drive or move a vehicle that cannot be moved safely. Blackline Mobile may stop, postpone or decline work because of traffic exposure, weather, unstable lifting surfaces, unsafe vehicle condition, hazardous materials, poor access, threats, aggressive animals, or any condition that cannot be handled safely with mobile equipment. Call 911 for an immediate roadway or life-safety emergency.
8. Parts, warranties and customer-supplied parts
Parts availability, brand and delivery timing are not guaranteed until confirmed. Any parts or labor warranty offered by Blackline Mobile will be stated in writing on the estimate, work order or final record. Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.
If you supply a part, you are responsible for its identity, condition and compatibility unless Blackline Mobile expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Extra labor caused by an incorrect, defective, incomplete or previously installed customer-supplied part may require a revised estimate and approval.
9. Payment, records and refunds
Payment is due for authorized work, parts and charges when stated in the estimate or work order. Card payments are processed by Square; Blackline Mobile does not receive or store full card numbers. Square may offer a digital receipt or its own card-on-file option under Square's terms. Cash payments may be recorded manually in the private job history.
Raise a billing, diagnosis or workmanship concern promptly so the service record can be reviewed. Any approved card refund is processed through Square to the original payment method when available. A refund connected to a canceled or returned parts order is issued after the supplier refund is received by Blackline Mobile; additional processing time may be required by Square or the customer's financial institution. Refund activity remains attached to the completed job record for accurate bookkeeping.
10. Scheduling changes and communication
Final timing and service length are set after review. Weather, traffic, parts, safety conditions, earlier work and conditions found at the vehicle may require a change. By providing a phone number, you authorize direct service-related calls or texts about your request, estimate, appointment or completed work. Blackline Mobile does not use the request form to enroll you in automated marketing texts.
11. Privacy and legal rights
Information practices are explained in the Blackline Mobile Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer right or Blackline Mobile responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited under New Jersey law. These terms are governed by New Jersey law, without changing any mandatory protection that applies to you.
12. Contact and support
For scheduling, service, billing or policy help, call or text (732) 535-7403 or use the customer support form.
